Cosmetic Dental Services Personalized to Your Needs
At Eastwood Dental, we use amalgam-free restorations that are durable, safe, and natural-looking. Our procedures help you achieve the smile you’ve always desired while also helping to preserve and improve your overall oral health.
We use the latest technology and the best materials to deliver high-quality cosmetic treatment. Dr. Jorge Reyes begins by examining your smile with digital x-rays, panoramic digital x-rays, intraoral cameras, and the CEREC® machine. Depending on the overall condition of your smile, we may recommend the following dental restoration services:
Teeth Whitening for a Brighter Smile
We offer professional teeth whitening for a whiter smile. Your tooth enamel is tough but porous, meaning that dark foods and drinks can easily stain it.
Our cosmetic teeth whitening process uses powerful solutions to penetrate your enamel and eliminate stains safely and effectively. At Eastwood Dental, we provide several options to brighten your smile through in-office and take-home treatments.
Zoom In-Office Teeth Whitening: Our in-office whitening works to eliminate years of surface stains in as little as an hour, depending on the level of discoloration. Our dentist applies the whitening solution evenly and carefully monitors your progress to ensure safe treatment and pleasing results.
Zoom Take-Home Teeth Whitening: Our take-home whitening kits offer the convenience of whitening your smile in the comfort of your home. Each kit contains form-fitting or custom trays that snugly fit over your teeth. By crafting your trays from impressions of your smile, you can expect even whitening and better results.
Fast & Effective Dental Bonding
Dental bonding is one of the simplest yet the most effective smile enhancements. Dr. Jorge Reyes uses a moldable composite resin to shape your tooth and address a broad range of cosmetic issues. Whether you have chipped teeth, discolored enamel, or unwanted gaps between teeth, dental bonding can help restore your smile.
One outstanding benefit of bonding is the ease of application. Dental bonding can be done in a single visit. First, our dentist slightly buffs the front of the tooth to help the bonding stay in place. He then shapes the tooth-colored composite to look natural and flattering. Finally, we harden the resin with a special light. We match dental bonding material to the color of your teeth to create a natural appearance.
Dental bonding is affordable, aesthetically pleasing, and can last 8-12 years on average.
High-Quality Dental Fillings & Same-Day CEREC Crowns
Like bonding, dental fillings use a composite resin that blends seamlessly into your tooth for beauty and protection. These cosmetic fillings bond well to your tooth and fit into small spaces, allowing us to preserve more of your tooth’s enamel when placing the filling.
If you have decay or damage that is too big for a filling, we can provide a beautiful custom crown in one appointment. We use CEREC technology to take digital impressions and enter the information into our milling machine. The high-quality crown that it fabricates will fit comfortably and protect your tooth for years to come.
Inlays & Onlays to Enhance Your Smile
Both inlays and onlays are forms of “indirect” fillings since we fabricate them outside the mouth (usually at a dental laboratory) and then bond them to your tooth. That contrasts to “direct” fillings that our dentist applies directly to the cavity in a single office visit.
An indirect filling is referred to as an inlay when it fits within the little cusps or points of a back molar or premolar tooth. If it covers one or more of these cusps, it is an onlay. Either way, the procedure for placing inlays or onlays are the same.
One key benefit of inlays and onlays is that, unlike dental crowns, less of your natural tooth structure will need to be removed or reshaped. Since our goal is to preserve as much of your natural tooth enamel as possible, we sometimes recommend inlays and onlays as cosmetic dental solutions.
Porcelain Veneers for a Beautiful Smile
Porcelain veneers can help you achieve a brilliant smile while addressing multiple issues at once. These thin yet durable shells are typically made from porcelain. They are designed to cover the front surfaces of chipped or discolored teeth, improving their overall appeal while also blending in with the rest of your smile.
Veneers can be used for a single tooth or all your most visible teeth to effectively complete your smile. Dr. Jorge Reyes can address everything from dental cracks and chips to slightly worn, crooked, or oddly-shaped teeth with porcelain veneers.
Straighten Your Teeth with Clear Aligners
We provide a comprehensive way to straighten crooked teeth and improve dental health with clear aligners. A clear aligner is a popular alternative to traditional metal braces. This orthodontic system uses a series of custom clear trays, which are virtually invisible.
Unlike braces, clear aligners are removable, so you won’t need to change your lifestyle, diet, or oral hygiene routine. Our dentist recommends wearing aligner trays for at least 22 hours a day to achieve the best possible results. Clear aligners are effective at treating mild to moderate orthodontic issues, such as:
- Dental Crowding
- Crooked Teeth
- Gaps between Teeth
How Dental Implants Can Give You Back Your Smile
Implants are a popular solution for replacing missing teeth. No other restoration comes as close to replacing an entire tooth like implants. A dental implant has three parts: the dental implant post, the abutment, and the final custom restoration.
The dental implant post is biocompatible titanium that effectively fuses with your jawbone, creating a permanent replacement for the tooth root. Our dental team skillfully places your implant, then customizes and adds your restoration. Dental implants conveniently support various cosmetic prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, and full or partial dentures to give you a perfect smile.
